The Board of Directors is a group of volunteers who have taken on the legal, financial and governance responsibilities for the Stouffville Skating Club. Their focus is to ensure that the club has a strong financial standing to enable the Club to deliver its programs for skaters and families in our community.
The Board of Directors is elected at the Annual General Meeting and additional members may be added to board to fill vacancies or a pressing need. The officers of the Club, President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary, are appointed from amongst the elected directors.
Many board members may choose to take on other volunteer roles in support of the operations of the club. Each are vital to helping run the skating club smoothly. You can see the list of non-director volunteer roles here.

Refundable Volunteer Fee
To encourage sufficient volunteer participation in 2026-2027, the club has needed to implement a volunteer surcharge during program registration. This surcharge will be added once per family to your invoice during registration. It will be refunded in full once you volunteer with club.
Election to the Board of Directors will allow the refund of the volunteer surcharge that was added to your invoice.
