Pre-CanSkate
A foundational, play based, learn to skate program for our youngest skaters.
Our Pre-CanSkate program is designed for children going into Junior kindergarten. With the use of interactive games and activities, we encourage young skaters to become comfortable on the ice. Our NCCP certified Skate Canada coaches teach basic skills such as getting up, stopping, and skating forwards and backwards. The coaches are helped by trained Program Assistants from our StarSkate program. All lessons are taught in a group lesson format.
CSA APPROVED HOCKEY HELMETS ARE MANDATORYParents are not allowed on the ice. It is mandatory that parents stay at the arena for children under the age of 12.
Please ensure that skaters are dressed appropriately. Snowpants, long johns or pajamas under warm track pants, a warm jacket and mittens should suffice.
