I am proud to be a member of the Stouffville Skating Club since 1971 that has included a competitive skating career along with being a certified figure skating coach.
I started my figure skating journey at the age of six, with Stouffville as my home skating club, along with the Unionville Skating club (years later), until I was 17. In 1994, I returned to Stouffville to coach this amazing sport, along with the benefits of being with my daughters that were also members the Stouffville Skating Club.
I have completed my Level One and my Level Two Technical and Theory components, along with my certification as Skate Canada Power skating coach; Skate Canada is the only association that has a certification in Power Skating.
I enjoy keeping up to date with the figure skating world by attending regular coaching seminars and workshops run by Skate Canada-Central Ontario section.
My mission is to promote fitness, confidence and a love for the sport in a positive and rewarding way.

I am a Level One certified coach with Level Two Technical and Theory components. I also have my CanSkate and Special Olympics certification.
During the day I am a Special Education Resource Teacher with the Durham Board of Education. This is a position I have held since 1991.
I have always loved the sport of figure skating and it is that passion I hope to pass on to all levels of skaters I coach!
