I am a life-long resident of Stouffville and have been a member of the Stouffville Skating Club for almost 35 years. I started skating with the Club at the age of three and continued until I was 19 and off to university. In my second year of university I was offered a coaching position with the Club which has now lasted 19 seasons!
I am a Level One certified coach with my Level Two Technical and Theory components. I also have my Special Olympics certification.
During the day I am a Special Education Resource Teacher with the Durham District School Board. This is a position I have held for 16 years.
I have always loved the sport of skating and I try to pass that passion on to the skaters I coach.
